Here’s the video from our five day trek through central Australia. There’s some footage of us enjoying some bush tucker, as well as checking out the sights around Uluru (Ayers Rock) and other highlights in the middle of the continent. For our guide’s sake, I have to say that I know they don’t traditionally play the didgeridoo in central Australia. The music just sounded right. We’re trying to mix it up a little with our latest episode. Watch as we taste some native fauna while taking a break for the day during our drive across the Outback. Episode 14 is from Bangkok, the gateway to both Thailand and all of Southeast Asia. It’s a beautiful city with plenty of culture, yet as a backpacker (heading straight from the Indian subcontinent) it’s tough not to spend lots of time on Khao San Road. In this episode we’ve got some of the main sights around Bangkok, as well as an introduction to that infamous backpacker haunt. Lucky Thirteen for BTBtv, with a video about the crazy party island of Koh Pha Ngan (I’m finally spelling it right!) in the Gulf of Thailand. Beautiful beaches and a non-stop party atmosphere make this one of Thailand’s most popular destinations, particulary with young backpackers. We didn’t make it to a Full Moon Party, but I think you can kind of get the idea. And of course we’d like to thank our special guests for helping us out! This is just a short video we made in Bombay before leaving. I’m rethinking the video format on the site. That explains why there hasn’t been much lately. Everyone is on YouTube, and then there’s Travelistic. So I’m thinking of distributing videos that way from now on, as well as making them shorter and more frequent. We’ll see how that turns out. But for now, check out some different food!
