BTBtv Episode #14: Bangkok

Posted April 17th, 2007 by Kevin Allgood

Episode 14 is from Bangkok, the gateway to both Thailand and all of Southeast Asia. It’s a beautiful city with plenty of culture, yet as a backpacker (heading straight from the Indian subcontinent) it’s tough not to spend lots of time on Khao San Road. In this episode we’ve got some of the main sights around Bangkok, as well as an introduction to that infamous backpacker haunt. If the video doesn’t work, make sure you have the latest version of Flash installed. Enjoy!

Timen- Thanks! SE Asia is pretty awesome, we’re loving it. And thanks for the plug on your website, much appreciated.

tomo & Krystal - Yes, I saw that belly while going through my footage and it was instantly in. Says so much about that place. Sometimes Khao San is like Panama City, yet its appeal is undeniable. Chris was hilarious with his towel usage, but I wish I had one, it’s HOT.

The belly, yes. I liked the IPood shirt. The markets in Asia and Central America seem to have a bunch of the same stuff. A lot of crap, cheap shoes, jewelry, crappy DVDs, drinks in plastic bags, etc. It’s genius, really.
