Nicnac - yes, we had a very hard time sleeping!  Not a bad train or anything, but it's just hard to sleep like that.  We're taking the bus back to Bangkok tomorrow, maybe that will be better.  I'm glad I got the tripod back too...would have been a real bummer.  Won't forget that again (not that Val will let me ever forget it now).  Sunburn is getting better, slowly but surely.  Word to the wise:  do NOT trust any sunscreen made in Thailand.</description>

Reading your post brought back memories of taking that night train from Bangkok to Surat Thani - it's quite difficult to sleep on and tiring isn't it.  Anyway enjoy Koh Phan Ng, and Val I hope your sunburn gets better soon :)</description>
