Except: No. Nicnac - yes, we had a very hard time sleeping! Not a bad train or anything, but it's just hard to sleep like that. We're taking the bus back to Bangkok tomorrow, maybe that will be better. I'm glad I got the tripod back too...would have been a real bummer. Won't forget that again (not that Val will let me ever forget it now). Sunburn is getting better, slowly but surely. Word to the wise: do NOT trust any sunscreen made in Thailand. I'm glad you got your tripod back in the end though. Reading your post brought back memories of taking that night train from Bangkok to Surat Thani - it's quite difficult to sleep on and tiring isn't it.
